Interior architecture

The monumental nature of the building’s exterior is continued in its interior, with the same embellishments on the windows and walls. This is due to the fact that this Castle-Palace performed a dual function: in addition to being a fortress that protected the lord and his vassals, it also had to be ostentatious enough to demonstrate the status of its owner, a person of great political power.

As you entered, there was a storeroom on the left for the tributes of the vassals, and the stables on the right.
