There are five chipped stone pilasters making up the arches and portico of the courtyard on three of its four sides. There is an austere decorative feature both in the middle of the pilasters and at the intrados of the arches, featuring a moulding in the shape of a circle. This decoration is repeated at the top of some of the windows. All in all, it forms a Renaissance-style courtyard.
When the renovation was undertaken in 1998, significant action had to be taken to prevent them from collapsing.
